Keynote speaker
Tori James is the first Welsh woman to climb Mount Everest. Tori is a professional speaker and host of the First Females podcast which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first female ascent of Mount Everest.
Tori's expedition achievements include climbing Cho Oyu (8,201m) and becoming the first all-female team to complete the Polar Challenge, a 360-mile race to the Magnetic North Pole. In 2014, the Beeline Britain team made the first ever straight-line journey between Land's End and John O'Groats. This journey is documented in the multi award-winning film called 'As the Crow Flies’.
Tori has also cycled the length of New Zealand and is an advocate for active travel initiatives, passionately promoting 'bike buses' enabling children to cycle to school and experience everyday adventures by bike.
Tori is the President of Girlguiding in Wales. She is an ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and a Fellow of British Exploring.

Csilla is a senior global mobility leader with over 20 years of experience delivering measurable business impact through strategic mobility transformation. She gained experience at EY, Roche, and Nokia and has recently joined MOL Group where she leads the end-to-end design and governance of international assignment programs, driving integrated solutions across tax, immigration, compensation, relocation, and technology. Known for turning strategy into results, Csilla has led global mobility system implementations, redesigned policies to improve compliance and scalability, and streamlined payroll and mobility processes to increase data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Her leadership has enabled high-growth workforce expansion, supported large-scale international assignments, and strengthened vendor partnerships to enhance assignee experience and service delivery. With a forward-looking view of mobility as a strategic talent lever, Csilla partners with senior leaders to enable agile talent deployment, build future skills, and empower globally mobile employees — positioning mobility as a driver of organisational resilience, growth, and long-term value.
Simon is a seasoned leader in global mobility, currently serving as the Head of Mobility UK and Global Corporate at Chanel. With deep expertise spanning consulting, legal operations, and talent development, Simon brings a unique perspective to international workforce strategy.
Beginning his career at Deloitte within the Global Employer Services (GES) team, Simon developed a strong foundation in cross-border compliance and talent management. His journey then led him to become the Chief Operating Officer for Deloitte Legal, where he drove operational excellence and strategic transformation across legal services.
Simon’s current role enables him to connect all facets of the organisation (finance, HR, legal, talent and business leadership) to help Chanel unlock business growth through the development and deployment of key talent.
Simon is drawn to the world of mobility because it offers the opportunity to make a real, tangible impact on business outcomes. He champions innovative, people-focused mobility strategies that power growth and agility in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
Andrea is an accomplished global mobility professional with two decades of experience managing complex mobility programs for multinational organizations. She currently serves as a manager of the Global Mobility Competence and Support Center at Tetra Pak, where she leads strategic initiatives to optimize international assignment policies and ensure compliance with global tax and regulatory frameworks. Her career includes senior leadership roles at MOL Group, where she successfully implemented and continuously enhanced group-level mobility policies and introduced advanced software solutions to streamline operations. During her tenure, Andrea was also appointed to lead human resources (HR) for the Functional and Innovative Businesses & Services divisions, coordinating HR systems and processes in alignment with MOL Group’s strategic objectives.
Andrea began her mobility career at IBM, progressing from an expense validator to IBM Mobility Center Operations Manager and EMEA Mobility Business Controls Lead. In these roles, she drove audit readiness, process centralization, and compliance improvements across multiple regions. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Andrea has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest, sharing best practices and emerging trends in international HR management. She is passionate about creating efficient, compliant, and employee-focused mobility solutions that align with business goals and foster global talent development.
Michali belongs to the generation of global mobility leaders who transform the Global Mobility functions and teams from being operational functions into being strategic advisors and partners to the business, who have a seat at the table and are partners for strategic decision making.
She currently leads the Global Mobility and Travel team at HelloFresh, an international tech company with 16 offices around the world.
Michali has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and over 10 years of experience in leading high-performing Global Mobility Teams.
Jane has worked with Novo Nordisk for more than three decades, spending the last 22 years in global mobility where she has experience within mobility partnering, leading mobility teams and is currently working as Project Manager focusing on how to improve the user experience of Mobility.
Jane is also a subject matter expert within the area of virtual work options and the associated hub setup.
Guy is a global mobility leader with more than 18 years of comprehensive experience spanning Big Four consulting and various senior in-house roles. He has been a pivotal force in co-shaping the global mobility function at the Schwarz Group for nearly nine years, culminating in his appointment as Head of Global Mobility in October 2024.
Throughout his career, Guy has focused on transforming global mobility from a purely logistical and compliance-driven function into a strategic pillar for human capital development. His vision centers on leveraging mobility as a key driver for identifying, developing, and retaining emerging leaders within the organization. Guy is dedicated to creating modern, business-aligned mobility strategies that have a direct impact on organizational growth and talent pipeline strength, positioning global mobility as a critical part of strategic decision-making.
Lucca is an international payroll, labour compliance, and global mobility leader with over 15 years of experience across highly regulated industries, including railway, insurance, and government contracting. His career has been shaped within complex, audit-intensive environments where regulatory accuracy, governance discipline, and cross-border compliance are critical to business continuity.
He currently serves as the Compliance Manager of International Payroll and Labour Operations at Leidos Innovations UK LTD, where he plays a central role in shaping and governing international payroll and labour compliance frameworks across the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia. His work focuses on the strategic harmonisation of global payroll and mobility functions, ensuring strong alignment between HR, payroll, tax, and labour operations while maintaining clear governance boundaries between oversight and execution.
Throughout his career, Lucca has focused on transforming international payroll and mobility from siloed operational functions into integrated governance partners that support workforce strategy, risk management, and international growth. He is a transformation ambassador and spokesperson for circular ecosystem operating models that connect global mobility, global payroll, and HR through shared accountability, data transparency, and end-to-end compliance.
Lucca is finalising an MBA and preparing to pursue an LLM in international tax and corporate law and governance, with a long-term research focus on modernising international tax and international workforce governance models.
Ramon Ortiz has a degree in economics and business studies from Complutense University. He has over 30 years of experience in HR, particularly in the areas of compensation and benefits and global mobility.
Ramon began his professional career at JP Morgan, where he was responsible for payroll and expatriate management. In 1998, he started working at the Spanish Multinational Ferrovial as the Head of Compensation and Benefits and Global Mobility. From 2004 to 2011, he was the Head of Compensation and Benefits and Global Mobility at Grupo Sacyr, one of Spain's leading companies. Since 2011, he has led human resources for branches and head of global mobility policy and expatriate management for the Spanish railway company Talgo, whose most emblematic project is the Haramain train, which transports pilgrims to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Mark has worked in global mobility for 20 years, both in industry and practice. He has been in his role at Maersk for two years and is fully immersed in leading a whole-scale review of their Global Mobility Policy Suite.
After starting his career as an expatriate tax specialist in the big four, he made a sideways step into global mobility business development before focusing on global mobility in-house roles from 2020 onwards.
Mark has a bachelor's degree in law from King’s College London.
Speakers
Kate is a senior principal at Mercer and the firm’s Global Mobility Practice Leader for the UK and Ireland. Kate has worked in professional services organizations for over 20 years, supporting multinational clients with the management of their internationally mobile workforces. She has advised clients on a wide range of talent mobility topics including talent and mobility strategy alignment; policy and programme design and implementation; expatriate compensation and benefits; stakeholder engagement and communication; mobility function design; and technology implementation and optimization.
Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in history and English literature from the University of Melbourne, and a graduate diploma in human resource management and industrial relations from RMIT.
Senior Principal Global Mobility Consultant & Europe & Middle East Legal Industry Leader – Career
Mercer UK
Based in London, Michael is a Senior Principal Global Mobility Consultant. Michael also leads the Legal Industry vertical for Europe & Middle East in Mercer’s Career line of business.
Prior to joining Mercer in 2013, Michael spent six years at EY where he supported and advised on clients’ mobility programmes, including working in-house at Electrolux and Lloyds Banking Group.
In his current role, Michael manages a portfolio of multinational clients, providing guidance and support in the areas of expatriate compensation and global mobility policy and programme design. He also leads the delivery of Mercer’s global mobility client training.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in European politics and Spanish from Cardiff University. In addition, Michael speaks Portuguese, German and French, and is currently learning Dutch.
Mark leads Mercer Marsh Benefit’s Global Mobility Solutions teams across Europe. Before joining Mercer in 2010, Mark held senior positions at AXA PPP International and International SOS, comprising more than 25 years of international benefits experience.
Mark helps multinational companies understand, review and address the key issues facing their globally mobile employee health and risk benefit provision — primarily focused on international medical insurance, life/disability risk and medical/security assistance — with work also undertaken on multinational pooling and captive solutions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of York.
Cindy specializes in supporting organizations across Belgium and Luxembourg. With over a decade of experience at Mercer’s Brussels office, Cindy has developed deep expertise in global mobility consulting, helping international companies optimize their global compensation management and mobility policies.
Cindy has successfully led and contributed to numerous projects across various industries, including benchmarking assignment policies, designing expatriate policies, hosting and leading mobility roundtables, coordinating mobility data memberships, and delivering training on mobility compensation. Her broad experience and expert knowledge make her a trusted advisor in the international global mobility field.
Cindy’s professional approach and multilingual capabilities enable her to effectively support clients in navigating complex mobility challenges in Belgium and Luxembourg.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing communication and is fluent in Dutch, English, and French. Prior to joining Mercer, Cindy worked extensively with a global tax provider as part of their Global Compensation Services team, further honing her skills in global mobility and compensation benchmarking.
Yvonne leads the Mercer Mobility business, working closely with Mercer’s market mobility leaders. In her role, she helps multinational companies resolve international assignment management issues and challenges through mobility, rewards & benefits solutions.
With more than 25 years of experience, Yvonne has been instrumental in driving and supporting Mercer geographic regions, particularly EMEA and APAC. She has played a key role in the development and design of international compensation solutions for a number of leading firms and is a regular speaker at Mercer’s international management seminars and conferences.
